Muskoka Woods was looking for a theme that would focus on spirituality, activity and nature. Something to remind and reinforce the fact that Muskoka Woods has multiple dimensions – it’s not just a camp, it’s not just a resort, it’s not just about activities, it has many meanings and dimensions – spiritual, physical, emotional, all in a unique over-the-top camp setting. That theme was MOVE.

It was important that the theme for 2017 not simply be added to the marketing material but truly integrate and be an important part of the overall look. Since photos are the ‘star’ of any MW piece, the idea was to use the ‘MOVE’ phrases as an integrated part of the picture frame. By using this frame approach we are giving intentional meaning to the photos we choose and helping people understand the purpose of the photos beyond the obvious.

Muskoka Woods is not simply a summer camp, it’s an experience that helps to develop all facets of young people.
The MOVE theme was updated to ON THE MOVE then became the visual identity for the 2017 season.

Outhouse was a Strategic Partner - Creative to Muskoka Woods for almost 15 years. Many of the visual identity pieces that were created over that span are still in use today
