Choice Properties REIT will be taking the corner of Bloor & Dundas in Toronto, Ontario and transforming it into a complete community. A destination that knits together the established surrounding neighbourhoods and creates a hub that serves the community's needs.

The Choice Properties Community Idea Centre at Bloor and Dundas in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Together, with the beautiful people at Lux9 Inc and Cicada Inc we created the interior and exterior of THE COMMUNITY IDEA CENTRE. A venue at the corner of Bloor & Dundas for community events and gatherings. Designed to promote dialogue to uncover the unique, local needs to guide Choice Properties' development plans for a mixed-use community at the site.

The design intent is based on seven themes: Connecting, Learning, Living, Working, Shopping, Playing, and Sustainability. This site represents a unique opportunity to create a comprehensive redevelopment that can contribute to a better quality of life for the community of today and tomorrow.

Using direction from Lux 9 and renderings from CICADA, we created and produced all the experiential materials for the 300ft exterior of the building and the entire interior of the space. We also designed the UI for an interactive touchscreen console and a standalone survey kiosk used to collect visitor data.
