MOTIVATIONWorking directly with John Street Advertising, we set out to create a new, responsive, modern design style and develop a new and consistent user experience to the Loblaw corporate website. DIRECTIONWorking from a pre-existing direction, we worked directly with the project team at John Street Advertising. First, we created UX wireframes for the desktop, mobile and tablet experiences. Then, we created graphic templates for all the necessary pages that would later be developed by a 3rd party. Custom UI solutions were found for several content elements - simplifying the user experience and, making it more unique. Complete "build-guides" were also designed and developed - providing the DEV team with precise instructions around CSS stylesheets, sizing, colours etc...
